c.l.e.a.n.

 polaroids were taken this weekend.  some by me. others by my very talented friend cori kindred.  i'm excited to share them with you.  soon.

i did a closet/room clean out this weekend and it was so many things.  overwhelming.  inspiring. exhausting. i forgot how cool some of the stuff i've collected over the years is.  our space is just so tiny right now, it is easily overtaken by stuff.  so most of it is tucked away. and you know the old saying, out of sight out of mind.

in doing this clean out i have been inspired to start collaging again. i REALLY REALLY miss it. and i have so many supplies to do so.  that was the original intent of this blog. to show my collage creations, hence the name scissors.paper.glue.  somewhere along the way i found a polaroid camera, got a divorce, moved to portland.  my love for paper took a back seat and my creativity got a little lost.  i want to try again though. 

some things that are inspiring me lately.

• the latest issue of marie clare idees.  

there just is no other magazine that compares. it makes me wish i had taken french in school instead of spanish. and worth every franc.

• hip hip hooray - the best children's party idea blog EVER!

i feel a sense of unease when i haven't made something with my hands for a few days. it always feels so right to begin again :)
also, you + cori kindred = something wonderful. can't wait!
